Joshua C. Willard, DMD
Dr. Josh Willard served 11 years in the military before attending UNLV School of Dental Medicine. He graduated magna cum laude in 2008. He is an alumnus of the esteemed Pankey Institute, where he continues his advanced education. Dr. Willard stays at the top of his profession by continuing his education and staying abreast of the latest techniques, technology, and products available in dentistry today.
Dr. Willard is involved in organized dentistry and continues to further his duties within this arena. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and North Texas Dental Society. Dr. Willard is the current Vice President of the North Texas Dental Society and works in conjunction with Dallas County Dental Society to provide mentorships to new dentist entering the profession, and a delegate to the TDA House of Delegates for the past 2 years. He was voted one of D Magazine's Best Dentist in Dallas in 2019. He was recognized and awarded the 2017 Top Docs "Recognizing Excellence" with Living Magazine. In 2018 and 2019, Dr. Willard was selected as one of Texas Monthly's Super Dentist in Texas.
Dr. Willard believes in giving back to his community. He volunteers with Texas Missions of Mercy and also provides dental service to the underserved. Dr. Willard continues to seek opportunities where he can help those most in need.
Blake Burnstad, DDS
Dr. Blake Burnstad was born and raised right here in Plano, TX. He is excited to join Dr. Willard and Dr. Gerlach back in Plano, serving his hometown. Dr. Burnstad graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, in 2018. He then chose to further his education by traveling to Houston, TX to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Burnstad was awarded “The Best Resident” in recognition for his outstanding performance during his time in Houston.
During his time in residency at Houston, TX, Dr. Burnstad understood and valued the role of organized dentistry. He was involved with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Burnstad is now excited in joining and being involved with the North Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Burnstad has always had a heart for serving others and using dentistry as a way of giving back. During both dental school and residency, he volunteered with Give Vets a Smile in Houston and Mission SAXE Arlington. Dr. Burnstad has also traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide dentistry to those in need.
