Shawn Blagowsky, affectionately known as “Dr. B,” has been practicing dentistry in the area for more than 30 years. A longtime Plano resident, she and her husband raised their family here, and both of their children graduated from Plano East. Today, her daughter lives nearby, while her son is continuing the family tradition of raising cattle on their farm in Oklahoma.

After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. B attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. She and her husband then moved to Dallas, where she completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center. Since that time, Dr. B has practiced in Richardson and is now excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the Willard Dental team.

Her passion is creating a patient-centered experience defined by kindness, joy, and long-term relationships. One of her greatest joys is caring for multiple generations of families—especially when the children of her longtime patients return with children of their own.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. B enjoys traveling, cheering on her favorite sporting events (she especially loves the Olympics), and co-hosting a podcast about OU football with her college best friend. Looking ahead, she hopes to renovate her family’s Oklahoma farmhouse, a place rich with history and fond memories.
