With advanced training from the Pankey Institute and recognition as a D Magazine Best Dentist, Dr. Josh Willard combines artistry and precision to deliver timeless smile transformations in Plano and North Dallas.

Welcome to Willard Dental. Here, dentistry is more than procedures—it’s artistry, trust, and a lasting partnership in your health. My mission is uncompromising care grounded in respect, compassion, and expertise.

A healthy smile shapes how you eat, speak, and carry yourself. The most rewarding moments for me are not only restoring a smile, but helping you preserve it for years. Care is collaborative: I listen first and we design a thoughtful plan around your goals; every detail of your experience is intentional.

To honor that promise, I stay at the forefront through continuous education, including advanced training at The Pankey Institute. My team combines technical excellence and artistry, partnering with specialists who share our philosophy of seamless, comprehensive care. I invite you to discover a practice where your smile—and your well-being—are at the center of everything we do.

Dr. Josh Willard is a U.S. Army veteran who served 11 years before earning his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude in 2008. An alumnus of The Pankey Institute, he pursues ongoing advanced education to deliver restorative and cosmetic care that is precise, transparent, and unrushed. As the owner of an independent practice, he leads your care personally—from thoughtful diagnosis to finely executed treatment—prioritizing function, aesthetics, and long-term oral health.

Away from the practice, Dr. Willard and his wife love visiting their two college students—often timing trips around college football weekends—and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys the outdoors and a good round of golf, and he’s just as at home in the workshop, where his woodworking and eye for detail mirror his clinical craftsmanship. After living in several states, including six years in Alaska, he’s proud to call Texas home.
